Good sleep is a very important part of Healthy&Sporty lifestyle!

Sleep is not only a time for rest, but also a crucial factor for children’s health and development. When children sleep, their body grows, repairs and strengthens itself. Their brain also processes and consolidates the information they learned during the day. Lack of sleep can have negative consequences for your child’s mood, learning, memory, immunity and weight. That’s why it’s important to follow the recommendations on how much sleep children need according to their age.

Here are the guidelines:

• Children aged 3-5 years: 10-13 hours per day

• Children aged 6-12 years: 9-12 hours per day

• Adolescents aged 13-18 years: 8-10 hours per day

Make sure your child has a regular bedtime routine, a comfortable and dark bedroom, and avoids screens and caffeine before bed. Our children deserves the best sleep possible. Give them the gift of healthy sleep today! Write in the comments how much sleep does your body need? Share it with us!
